Answer:
The same as present-day Karaites, our ancestors also confessed the only faith of the Torah written by the prophet Moses. Our ancestors nor we have never accepted the Talmud, and our ancestors never joined the followers of Talmudism, for this reason they could never have split from them. Karaites are the separate and independent ethno-confessional group.
